Technical Guidance

Technical and policy guidance is necessary to support the adoption of a legal and policy landscape that supports the implementation of these critical strategies. The Indigenous Water Wisdom Project intends to begin working to address this need by developing technical and policy guidance documents for the implementation of wise water management strategies in the urban and broadacre context to act as a resource for communities who are seeking guidance and support as they work to address a changing climate and all of its impacts. A critical component of this work is in a strategic outreach, education, and collaboration component that is focused on raising awareness about solutions that exist to create climate resilience and reduce the impacts of drought and desertification.
